Stunning monochrome print printed on Fine Art A3+ paper, hand Signed by photographer Jackie Ranken with a certificate or authenticity.
From the Photographer:
The Milford Umbrella Tree is one of my most iconic prints of Milford Sound. First photographed in 2006. Great care was taken with the composition of the image. The separation of the tree from the surrounding mountains and the lifting of the umbrella fill the gap between the mountain edge and the curved shaped foliage above being the part of that. I love the way the wide angle lens has distorted reality to make the tree expand high above and over the ‘Magritte’ looking man.
